I just watched this movie 14 years later, not sure how I missed it because I love zombie movies. I absolutely loved 28 Days Later. Ok, this movie pissed me off and I found myself wanting everyone to know the two dumb kids caused everything. It was impossible for me to have any sympathy for them. It spoiled the movie for me because I couldn't find a character I cared about. I wish they had found a different way for the new outbreak with the mom being a carrier and the kids weren't responsible for her being found. They spent too much time making the father look like he deserted his wife when the reality is there was nothing he could have done for her that I could see. He had the choice of running away or stay and die with her. They made him the villain turned monster who seemed to have a tracker on his son. It was ok, worth a free watch, but if you're like me and didn't watch it 14 years ago, I'd pass.
