'Lessons in Chemistry' was an excellent read that told the story of a young chemist, Elizabeth Zott, in the 60s. The story follows Elizabeth's life, portraying the many hardships she went through on her journey. There were times when the book was so despairing, I was brought to tears, as well as times that made me erupt in laughter. The message of 'Lessons in Chemistry' was very clear in its delivery and very, very important to the function of society. This is most certainly the best book I have read this year. Everyone should read it, as it holds some of the most important values of people inside. Definitely recommend.
