This movie touched my soul to the inner core. We all have memories we wish we could or would have followed through with to some extent just to see in our minds and hearts what might have happened. This movie helps settle some of our inner feelings. Touching, soulful and beautifully acted by the entire cast.

I thought I was going to hate this film because I loved the original Color Purple so much that I prejudged the remake. This film has a life all of its own. Well done. Beautiful cast and wonderful tribute to the musical play and original movie.
