An incredible cast with superb directing. The acting by Helen Hunt is unforgettable. Hunt's Subtlety and nuance has been captured forever as has Jack Nicolson's soul and skill as an actor, thank you Jack. I think James L. Brooks created a masterpiece. Greg Kinnear, Cuba Gooding Jnr and the rest of the cast are so magnificent that I want to watch again and again. It's no wonder that this film won so many awards. Brilliant!

Such a shame that Butler's character didn't finish the job on America's corrupt judicial system. Well, I suppose that Hollywood had different ideas in mind. That is, the great and powerful American justice system along with just a few good men overcame an evil mastermind and maintained the status quo... Phew! that was close America! You are free to do what we tell you! You are free to do what we tell you! You are free to do...

What's wrong with American culture that they would think that this would constitute as a comedy? Like everything that comes from America, this is a tragedy.

Another piece of Hollywood garbage. Aliens apparently travelled millions of light years through unimaginably inhospitable space to reek havoc on humans only to find that their highly advanced vastly superior technology cannot work inside human dwellings. Thanks America.

I waited 2 years for this garbage?

What a let down. I was hoping to see the main character's fingers cut off and buried in a shallow grave, but I suppose the writers had different ideas albeit plastic ones.. I suppose a bullet in the heart for a heartless character will have to do.

A seriously thoughtful, intelligent and mature program that gives credit to real ufology. Finally, we have individuals that will not perpetuate the silliness surrounding the study of aerial phenomena. This is film making history that serious ufologists can be proud of.

We're supposed to be in awe of these morally corrupt individuals suing and litigating their way into a sewer of depraved situations. I guess this is what Americans love to make and watch.

Isn't violence fun? Well, at least the depiction of it is. This hilarious take on modern murder and mayhem parallels the decline of American cinema. American’s love affair with guns and violence shines on in this alleged comedy on a fast train to nowhere. Costing 90 million US dollars around quarter of which was paid to Brad Pitt, the rest, presumably towards make-up and extras. Attempting witty dialogue along with a catchy rock song with each death scene maintaining the required amount of Hollywood blood, just enough so that the whole family can just laugh laugh laugh. Bullet Train (get it? “bullet”) will assuredly have audiences around the water cooler discussing their favourite carnage. A very forgettable movie 2 stars.
