I’m only 5 songs in and this is a stunning largely faithful interpretation of classic Dylan. The harmonica playing sends chills down my back. This is all the more enjoyable because Dylan himself has no interest in recreating these songs in the way that made them so powerful when they were originally released. Cat’s voice is perfect with just the right amount of husky snarl and diction that makes the poetic lyrics instantly understandable if not always understood.
