Found it average. A predictable plot. The length of the movie is very long with unnecessary sub plots and item numbers taking up space. Too many messages in one movie starting from dying local art, factory closure, unemployment, mental health, love , passion and criminals are outcome of social situation. The bank robbery plot, may be because we are exposed to soo many similar ones in OTT and past moves seemed so similar to others that the uniqueness couldnt be established , how much ever Sibaprasad may have changed makeups and tried new characterizations. Nothing against the acting ability but the story telling became boring.
Abir was apt . The lady characters were pretty weak. The imagery created in one of the songs, resembles a South Indian movie so much that one feels that we could have done a better job just sticking to a local flavor. White saree , water being poured, or the pottery scene ( I almost remembered the movie Ghost), likewise many scenes gave a vibe of other past movies. It has an elaborate cast but most characters are clueless about their contribution to the main plot, cinematography is good, Decent amount of fun elements are added to make it enjoyable. May be this time around, the director duo tried to make a masala film and I am sure it will find it's clan in many people but I need to excuse myself.
