"I just wanted to share my thoughts on Station 19. It's not just a TV show to me, it's like a family and a home. The chemistry between the cast members on and off screen is truly amazing. "The acting of the cast member is breathtaking."The story-lines covered in the show are relevant to the real issues we face today and I believe the show should continue. Many story-lines need to be told, such as Maya and Carina's journey being working mothers, Andy finally becoming captain after her father, Pruitt Herrera, and living up to his legacy. What I love about Station 19 is how it represents the LGBTQIA+ community, Black Lives Matter, Asian Lives Matter, Mental Health, and the representation it has on female firefighters and other important issues. Whenever a member falls, the rest of the team sets aside their problems and comes together to support each other. Season 2 was particularly emotional for me when Vic lost her partner Ripley, and how they all lay on top of the fire truck with her in solidarity. It made me feel like I was part of their family in some way. I truly adore Station 19 and it has taught me to keep fighting and to not be ashamed of who I am and who I want to become."
