Just your average teen drama it’s winx just in name only. My main issue is the white washing of Musa and Flora who’s now not Flora but her Cousin Terra who has body issue I love the fact they include a more diverse body size considering in the cartoon it was missing but her whole story was just about her insecurities about her body. The one only main POC character was Aicha but she was just a token black friend character here to support others with their life and problems and with no story for herself. They only had to follow the material and do some adjustments instead they fall into old tired death troops. Bloom isn’t just your average girl while Stella is the is a mean girl. Also where’s tecna? the cartoon was about self realization, treating others with kindness and above all friendship amongst friends that was health and supportive with interesting storyline. Yes the cartoon follows into some troop it’s not prefect such as the girlie girl, the smart girl but what was different and made the show enjoyable is that everyone had their characters fully flesh out and fully realized. I don’t know what is this.
