Ron Harder – Google

What a waste. Sure the premise of the movie has been done a thousand times. But the acting was mostly ok, the basic cinematography was good enough, even the writing wasn't all bad. But there was not one part of the whole thing that wasn't total cliche. There was some romance , I guess, maybe even a sexual encounter ,but not sure about that. Such a shame. I didn't even bother to watch the final half hour. I mean , how hard is it to add a little suspense, throw in a couple surprises, portray a relationship which has at least some significance to the parties involved. Maybe all that happened in the last 30 minutes, I guess I wont ever know.

The show has some very good actors, Agent Maggie Bell especially, and the stories are mostly interesting if a little formula. Before this series I watched Rookie Blue which had nuance, lots of character development, showed how hard and complex being a cop can be, how being human makes it hard to get it right at times, and that right and wrong can overlap at times. My guess is that FBI will get better, I am just half way through Season 1, and can't see it surviving for 5 seasons as it presently is.
