After having watched the movie, Puss in Boots, I can say without a doubt that it is the best movie of this year. Besides the obviously splendid animation shown thorughout the movie, taking the Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse's unique animation style, it truly encapsulates the viewer within its story through absolutely stellar writing, fantastic story pacing and amazing characterisation, that brought back to life not only old beloved characters but also gave to new iconic characters.
