Lal Singh Chadda!! What a great movie!!
This is a movie which makes you reconnect with pristine humanity, unvarnished innocence and truly selfless love. While watching it, we come face to face with those essential human traits which have got buried under the layers of our so called maturity. It is an unrecognized fact that every time we are ditched or rreated unfairly, we lose a part of our innocence. This is a stark reminder of that.
This official remake of Forest Grumpp takes a life of its own just fifteen minutes in the movie. The setting is unmistakably Indian, that too, rural Punjab. The portrayal of characters reminds us of so many people from our own surroundings. Especially Mona Singh, Aamir's mother, carries the weight of hopes and ambitions of all mothers. It reaffirms the dictum, "There is only one beautiful child in this world and every mother has it." Only while watching the movie, it makes perfect sense as to why did Aamir Khan become a Turbaned, bearded Sikh. It is must watch for those who have ome remnants of humanity within them, and that is all of US!!!
