This is the epitomal portrayal of Jesus the Christ,
Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world,
as John the Baptist identified..
The production is nigh perfect, the acting is beyond reproach,
and of course the narrative is based on the holy word of the Bible.
This is not to be missed, and to be savoured with each viewing,

This movie is an under-rated classic for the Christmas season, and all year.
It is a companion piece for It's a Wonderful Life which was made the previous year.
The Bs W has year long values that have swallowed up by the marvel machine,
which is a trenchant sign of the times. Too bad for the studio system which worships
mammon...
