Raden Damayanti

It is an amazing narrative poem that is so dramatic from beginning to end. It presents scary and eerie sea mysteries, atmosphere, and nature wrath punishing the sailors' sin, scenes of sea creatures. It shows grandeur as well as pettiness of a great sea journey driven by supernatural power. I just think the poet is truly one of the best in the world of classic literature.
