Harriet is a must see movie. It is entertaining, informative and inspirational. It is very well written and the acting is superb, especially Cynthia Erivo's performance. The movie focuses on the quest for freedom and the faith Harriet Tubman relied upon to do what seemed impossible. Harriet does not cataloge the atrocities of slavery, though there are hints of it. This movie gives us a glimpse of how awesome Harriet Tubman had to be to achieve what she did. Harriet also lets us know what is possible when courage outweighs fear.
