Thought provoking film. Exceptional acting by Saoirse Ronan. A film that has lingered with me- Saoirse is fully believable in her drunken ravages and struggling with sobriety. ‘I will never be happy sober’ -a defining moment in the movie. Well worth seeing this film and on the big screen for the majesty and smallness of Orkney pounded by the wild sea.
