Henry Saltzman

I was put off by the self indulgent wallowing in self pity of the main character. The writer is remarkable in her ability to keep finding ways to portray the love and the loss of the wife to a point where I began to feel that she was bathing herself in her desperation to preserve her husband, with almost no portrayal of his feelings. That said, there were some beautiful portrayals of loneliness in the midst of great natural beauty.
