Pointless musical sequences, plotlines that get set up and go nowhere, a dragged-out story, characters you don't care one bit about. A real shame and a fall from grace. The first was one of my favorites ever.

ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT PLAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously don't understand how people can say such great things about this game! I thought it was absolutely horrible. It was not exciting, thrilling, captivating, or anything you hoped it would be. THE ONLY thing I'll give this game is its attention to detail and the environments looked good. Otherwise this was a MASSIVE waste of my life. I am a huge fan of survival horror; Cry of Fear and Outlast are amongst my all-time favorite games but this was awful. NOT immersive, EXTREMELY frustrating and just overall terrible. There was no story worth telling, the gameplay and "puzzles" if you could call it that were so overly-complicated that for over half the game I was looking up how to do it. Every minute I spent in this game felt like a chore. It was completely awful in every sense of the word. I ended up finishing it just because I had some hope inside me saying "there's no way it's ALL this bad." I seriously thought it was a fake-out the whole time but it's really just that bad. I got this game on a major discount, for $1 in fact and I still don't even think it's worth that. NOT worth your time and certainly not worth your money. All this game is good for is making you feel existential because of the time you wasted on it thinking about how you could have been doing something better and more entertaining; perhaps watching paint dry? Honestly, I'd be more excited about that. It's games like this that make me lose faith in the industry. What a massive waste of time, money, and resources it was to build this game for the studio behind it. It baffles me just how many awful ideas get greenlit and it's truly upsetting to me that the talent it took to make this could have been used on something, ANYTHING better. If I could give this game less than one star I would. Hell, if I could give it NEGATIVE STARS I would. VERY very VERY disappointed.

Everything we could have hoped for and more. Exceeded my expectations far beyond measurement. THIS is the dark, violent, gritty, mature story DC was meant to be. #RestoreTheSnyderverse

It's not the greatest movie by any means, but I don't think it deserves all the hate it's been getting. If you're willing to put logic on the backburner and just be strapped into the ride that the film takes you on then I think it's enjoyable. It's basically Michael Myers going around murdering people and that's all it has to be; unfortunately at some points it tries to be more than that, but again it's enjoyable if you are willing to turn off your brain for a little and watch a bunch of people die in gruesome ways. This film feels like a modern classic slasher in that it ups the ante in terms of violence that they couldn't show back then, but is classic in that there's not a hell of a lot of plot going on, just murderous violence. I also like that it picks up right where Halloween '18 leaves off and all takes place in approximately the same amount of time that the events could occur in real life.

From the acting to the score to the storyline and plot twists, this is downright the BEST Batman movie that was made. Undoubtedly what DC needed following the success-streak of Joker and Zack Snyder's Justice League. It was dark and quite obviously for a more mature audience. The dialogue was SO well written and the cinematography was downright gorgeous. Couldn't recommend more. Can't wait to see it again.
