brittany murphy as nikki is the lovable brittany we know; she's the only good part of the movie. aside from that, pretty anticlimactic and repulsive - just makes you feel icky watching it (which means they did a pretty good job of conveying the day-to-day lives of its characters)

Awful. Characters were annoying and obnoxiously loud. No real plot. Seriously a waste of rental money. Glad I didn’t pay to see it in theaters. Schumer not a good actress - should stick to stand up only.

Too slow to build, it seems in an effort to mimic a Tarantino film. Anticlimactic. Not horrible, but not great. Soundtrack wasn’t great, and to be honest, I feel like a better soundtrack would’ve made the movie better. Only shining parts of this movie were seeing hemsworth half naked and the cinematography itself - shooting the same scene from multiple viewpoints was done very well from an actual movie making perspective, BUT the plot/script of those different viewpoints relied entirely on excessive repetition to “fluff” the movie to seemed.

Wish I could give a half rating. This is a total girls night movie that’s not overly girly and annoying. Some genuinely surprising plot twists and turns, but mostly predictable. kendrick and lively are very well casted, but it got cloyingly annoying at times. Also, soundtrack really odd? Why all the French upbeat music? Nobody was French? And it didn’t match the mood at all?

Wacky movie where Chris Pratt really shines as a funny guy. Not a fan of these weird fictional superhero movies, but the humor in it made it bearably funny - enough to even see the sequel (which wasn’t as good, but still good)

Literally one of my favorite movies - plot isn’t convoluted, but the acting is fantastic. My favorite gosling movie by far.
