I LOVED THIS FILM! The characters are inspiring, diversity is a fact of the world, the problem to be solved is not an adventure film cliché, and the conclusion gives me hope in the world. I watched it with my 3.5 year old, who found it fun and I didn't have to worry about the kinds of weaponized violence that can be so generic to most kids films. There are also very positive role models for every kind of viewer. Contrary to some of the more popular and negative reviews here, I found the nod to Turtle Island, the Indigenous creation myth, was beautiful and I am so heartened that mainstream culture incorporated that into an adventure tale. Kudos to the writers and filmmakers involved.
