In the first half hour the mom makes a fool of herself, wisecracking, acting rude, and embarrassing her daughter. Then she lies to her on the phone. Then she steals a bike. She decides it's up to her to help Andy over his fear of heights. Supposedly she and the Andy Garcia character are both married. I dont get the appeal. Not even cute. I liked the tour guide they delighted in making fun of. I can see from other reviews it apparently has appeal. Just a no for me.
