S1 Ep5. What lies beneath I'm an old guy. I live in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood. I don't always feel safe in my home due to crime in the area. I own firearms, I can and will defend myself in my home. The fact is that the criminals, nick and haile, made the homeowner feel very unsafe in his home. No one should ever have to feel this way. The producers of this sensationalized show want me to feel sorry for the white priviledged criminals breaking into a home on multiple occasions. If this had been two kids of color, the whole story would have been totally different from a law inforcement perspective. They would have been calling the homeowner a hero, but the criminals were white. Now a gentleman, defending himself in his home is going to die in prison because the criminals were white. If the homeowner would have been injured or killed, would we be calling this a prank? it's not harmless fun or a prank when you are committing a felony. This is another example of double standards and extremely bad parenting which breeds criminals such as the two criminals depicted in this latest incarnation of murder porn. I fully support the homeowner and hope he wins appeal fir for his release. I have empathy for the family of the criminals. I have no sympathy for the criminals.
