Poorly written movie with boring plot and unlikeable characters. Tried so hard to be funny that the movie was actually unfunny.

I have never watched The Quiet Place movies and have never been a fan of the franchise. In fact, before watching the movie I was really skeptical about how it would be and I expected myself to hate it. However, the movie was very emotional, thrilling, and interesting and I loved how complex, genuine, and sincere the characters were (especially Eric). I loved how pieces of Sam's (main character) memories were scattered around the movie and connected to each important scene. I loved the bonding between the seemingly two strangers and the actors expressed themselves brilliantly but subtly through their facial expressions. Wonderful movie! 10/10
