As a retired Firefighter/Paramedic, I enjoy watching the show, and I tend to watch the accuracy of the cast members on the job. What I’ve seen since the show’s very first episode to the last show this past Wednesday, they have been pretty much technically accurate. My only criticism would be that Casey and Severide do too much of the work. They are supervisors. It seems they are the only one that know how to do the job. Also, one last observation. Unless the CFD allows “Battlefield Promotions”, Casey would have taken a promotional exam for captain and I don’t recall any mention that he took one. So Chief Bowden wouldn’t be able to promote him in that way. Anyway, I do enjoy watching the show and look forward to Wednesday’s for Chicago nite.
