Not only do you have a prominent figure refusing to listen to the community this directly affects, but Sia lashed out and grew defensive, instead of learning WHY this movie is harmful. It's not enough to put a warning before the movie in regards to the restraint scene (which is dangerous and potentially fatal). It's not enough that Sia claimed she tried to hire an autistic actor. She didn't make the scenes or script accessible, and clearly didn't make the actor comfortable. It doesn't matter if her intentions were initially good, this is a vanity project for her, and has hurt so many people on the spectrum. Yet she refused to listen time and time again. Don't support this movie.
