I watched because I loved the 3 stars. But was quickly disappointed as the story unfolded. Throughout the entire film I was embarrassed for Swank and Jone’s being in such a crappy movie! And Streep…not even entering the film until the end with only about 5 unnecessary moments on screen…what a waste! Did ANY of these actors really need the $$? I’d have to say one of the worst films I’ve seen….next to Kindergarten Cop!

I’m glad I gave this series a 2nd chance. The first time (years ago) I couldn’t keep up with all the characters and the storyline didn’t seem clear. I got disinterested after just a few episodes. But I recently binge watched all 4 seasons and thoroughly enjoyed! I had read a review about a “disappointing ending” ( so I was prepared), but I thought the ending was perfect!

I loved Shameless and Jeremy Allen White’s character “Lip” so I was eager to follow him to The Bear. Initially, the kitchen chaos was a little overwhelming at times, but as someone who has worked in several restaurants, the chaos is authentic! Great characters, tight script, original storyline.

Surpringly really enjoyable. (You know how sequels can be!). While formulaic, if you enjoyed the first one and liked all those characters, the wild car chases and, of course, the music, you’ll love this!

Excellent. Disturbing to be sure, especially seeing as it’s a true story. Insightful, compassionate and definitely worth watching.

Great performances and storyline. Wanted it to continue…
