Strong cast, and the storyline itself also started out strong, but then it seemed to lose its way as it went on. The last episode just seemed silly and far too contrived, as if the writers couldn't figure out how to wrap it all up. I actually felt a bit embarrassed for Benedict Cumberbatch by the end.

Ugh. One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time, though I liked the previous John Wick films. So absurdly cartoonish it makes the recent glut of super-hero movies look like documentaries. Reeves, sad to say, just looks old and withered. The action sequences seem to never, ever, EVER end (especially the attacks around the Arc de Triomphe), to the point that I lost all interest in the actual characters. I started to feel like I was watching - not playing, but just WATCHING - 3 hours of the original Mortal Kombat. A full hour could have been cut from this film and it would have been fine for telling a good story about the characters. What a mess.
