Prof. Dr. Jeffrey Suchs seems quite ambiguous as he believes that poverty can be eradicated through merely giving aid to those in need. Yes, aid is crucial for breaking the vicious cirlcle of poverty. So aid is necessary but not sufficient for ending the extreme poverty.
