I could not put this book down. From the minute I realized what it was about it was absolutely intrigued. I've often thought about this is the middle school teacher. Wouldn't it be great if all their phones went away and we couldn't use the computers anymore? But the ripple effect that Smith is able to share is frightening as well as exciting. I love how he blends the zoo in with everything that has lost power. When you think about this, it truly is that provoking. I can't wait to talk about this book with my middle school students
