A beautiful book, The story of the garden is illustrated with beautiful full -colour photographs. After visiting the garden I found the book a wonderful reference for a gardener in Sydney area, or coastal NSW.

What a delightful book? Telling the way a little ten year old girl copes ftmany months with just her faithful dog for company. After ninety days and Rae realises the money in her mothers account is almost home. Because she is observant she knows the passwords that her mother used…to pay the rent, buy groceries, including dog food for Splinter. Washing cleaning and some bare cooking the child becomes a street smart orphan,sleeping with her dog on the lounge. When she plans a day off school to help her elderly neighbour Rae knows the school routine to notify the school she will be absent. It’s clear to others in the street that the mother has not been home and she’s able say invent answers for her absence.retreat. I’m not going to spoil the story but thoroughly recommend this book that willl stay with you.
