You could kind of see what they were going for, but it was executed poorly. There were a lot of subtleties and mysterious actions they were also going for, but they were so vague that none of those threads or nuances were neatly tied up into the story by the end. It was just badly done and confusing at times. You couldn't tell what emotion or vibe they were going for at various points in the film.
