I haven't had this much fun playing a hero shooter since Overwatch 1. If you fell out of love with hero shooters because of Overwatch 2 look towards Concord the gameplay is simple and fine tuned. The characters offer a gameplay style for all types. They also have rich backstories that will continue to grow as this game does as Concord has so much potential being tapped into. The Crew builder system is fantastically unique I've never seen a system like this encourage players to try multiple characters during a game as you get stat bonuses for using different types of class characters. This keeps the matches fresh having to adapt and counter appropriately. I didn't expect myself to pick this game up until I heard the devs say that there will be no battle pass that when you purchase Concord you own Concord. Everything on the future roadmap for Concord is ours and already paid for. Hearing this made me feel the joy I had in Overwatch 1 where I purchased the game and could earn all the cosmetics I wanted just through playing the game and not having to purchase a battle pass over and over. Overall this game is a lot of fun. Do yourself a favor and take with a grain of salt the remarks that bare no actual criticisms such as pronouns, DEI, the repeated "uninspired" comment of the characters please show me where their designs looks copied. Speaking of which the Devs are actively listening to critiques improving upon them. So makes the decision for yourself and not the echo chamber of hate after watching gameplay or test playing it whether this game will be fun for you.

I was pretty judgemental at first based on appearances thinking this game was just going to be bad trying to ride a wave of f2p games with -verses in the title the other game being Multiversus (check this one out lots of fun!) However, turns out Rumbleverse is a bunch of good fun! The controls function a bit differently than I'm use to in other games you'll know when you try it out (L2+R2 is Dodge??) just know that if you try to play this game like a button masher you won't have a good time because you need to be more methodical with your attacks/movements to learn and work with the mechanics not against them if you button mash. So if you like fighting games and have the patience to learn the mechanics/controls you'll probably have a good time. I've only played solos but hope to get a buddy of mine to run duos. I recommend playing the playground mode to explore/train. Have fun! 😊
