Maddie Lewis

I loved how they expanded on the American peculiar system. In previous books they barely talk about American peculiars and only describe it as unorganized or messy. In this book we finally get to see why they describe it that way and what caused their system to be like that. I was a bit depressed about Emma and Jacob but I’m glad it ended when it did. If they had stayed together their relationship would have felt forced and we probably would have been given several more reasons why they should break up. I loved all the new characters especially the amazing Wellington Weebus(even though we only see him for one scene). Also I absolutely adored Lilly and Millard.

With this book this series has easily become one of my favorites.

An amazing continuation of the first book!!

This book and its sequels are amazing and fun to read. They set up an original and interesting world with amazing character. They also make you feel like you’re right there with miss peregrine’s wards throughout their adventures.
