NOT based on the Kristin Hannah story (ha)! Gripping, beautiful and horrific film. Imagine Harriet gone terribly terribly wrong. Fantastic performances. Nice and long, perfect movie to remind ourselves that life could be much, much worse than this pandemic.

Great family movie based on a true story. Funny, poignant, not the prettiest view of life in a French village, and yet, still pretty. Overall, a tribute to a wonderful man.
