Hi Lauren Lake , I am a mother who has tried in the past to establish paternity for my daughter. The family now that he is deceased have not been welcomed to the idea. I believe my daughter has the right to the family name, It saddens me that my mental health and substance abuse history may have been the cause. . Her father's name was Roy H. Pascall and he lived in Brooklyn until April 9, 2016. born April 9, 1931.He passed at the age of 75 on his birthdate. He had a heart attack while shopping at Costco the family reported. My daughter was 12 at that time. She is now 28. Although she does not say I still feel I could have done more.He was a good man. The family disinherited her and my daughters was denied her birth right.. He was married when we met and when his wife passed we were to be married. It is a hurtful feeling as his name is not on her birth certificate and I know he would have wanted that. He loved her deeply.
