They left out so much that it lacked some of the intensity as the first two. It was visually well done, but missed the mark by taking out some of the plot on how the couple had grown together,, how the distance would test the relationship or even how Lara Jean was feeling. It took out some of the big references to Lara Jean's 80s rom com obsession and a key story line with Peter's mom. I didn't hate it but it certainly wasn't up to par with the first two or expectations. The acting was equa to the other two and the sets were visually beautiful/cool. I wanted to love it. With how big the book series was I wish Netflix had spent a little more money extended the movie a bit to include key scenes/ot lines that were missing. I'm glad I had read the book to be able to fill in the blanks that the movie left. Another example of the sequels not being as good as the first (or even the second in this case).
