I’ve watched most of the Kdramas from 2016 - 2019 and decided to watch here to heart. I would have to say the acting skills and chemistry of the lead actor and actress were as good as those in kdramas but the logic of some parts of the plot and little details were disturbing, illogical and unconvincing to me. I was particularly disturbed by the deception of the fake wedding in episode 47/48. It was so cruel to lead the love of Nanxian’s life on into believing Nanxian impregnated a woman who was crazy about him for all these years. It is as both absurd and cruel! If he has such deep level of love and duty towards Nuan, wouldn’t it be natural to AT LEAST let the love of his life ( Nuan) in about the wedding ploy? I also find it difficult to believe that Nuan has to undergo so many obstacles, humiliation, abuse and heartaches to redeem herself for running away for 7 years. Many episodes were unnecessary though one does see the growth of the two lead actor and actress. In comparison, I still think that I would hand it to kdramas like Something in the rain ( so realistic and heartwarming) and Fated to love you ( funny with a bit of fantasy but believable ).
