Very lore based but very lightly connected to the game itself. In a game known for its iconic jump-scares I can count on one hand how many there are within the movie. Overall it has a pretty decent story and theme but without it being a very popular games cinematic form, it wouldn’t be very successful.

Not for the light hearted, horror movies like It or something like Scream has never made me truly scared or un-nervey but smile definitely did the entire time I was concerned and uncomfortable but very good for a scare. Not a satisfying ending fyi.
