In no way is this 'A Perfect' film :but It must be said that those responsible for its transition from a much read (& respected) graphic novel(or comic as A Moore may say) didn't just knock out a production line big budget superhero adaptation. The craft ,thought & dedication put into the story, its look,pace ,editing,music & dialogue is clear to see. There may be some confusion over which version is best- not surprising with story & characters to spare, but I think in years to come this will 'stand up' when many of the 'flavour of the month' efforts are forgotten . I should add I am neither a graphic novel or superhero fan ,but I do like films that hold my interest & I feel are worth returning to...
