Warning: DON’T listen to the whiny trolls that are trying to butcher reviews. Actually play the game and judge it yourself as most of these reviews are solely based on the fact that a popular character dies and has little to do with the actual gameplay or story as a whole. Get over it gaming community. Not all of your favorite characters are going to survive.. Especially given that this is a survival horror game. As a die hard LOU fan, I think this game is a genuine masterpiece. It brings back everything you love about the game without sparing any of the suspense and gore. The mechanics are a lot smoother and fresh feeling than the first game, AI is more advanced so it feels like you actually have a sense of challenge. Especially with the dogs that can actually track your scent if you stay in an area too long. My favorite part of the series is the deep lore that the developers go into while you’re exploring. It’s so cool to find hidden secrets and learn more about the downfall of humanity. The game itself is amazing, updated, and well put together. Nothing feels rushed and cut scenes are smooth to transition. I can’t think of any bugs or glitches that I’ve experienced in my 3 playthroughs.
