This show needs to be cancelled. The writing is awful. There are so many characters and storylines that just disappear without any explanation. But beyond all of that is the complete disregard for black male characters who are not gay, criminals, bums or of low morals. There’s not one solid black male on the entire show. Maybe Sonny but he’s a minor role. Clearly Lena Waithe made it a priority to promote the gay black lifestyle this season. That’s pretty much what the show has been about. But to have zero upstanding black males on a black show is a disgrace. What happened to Common or the male teacher? Why is Ronnie a bum again? I thought he had straightened out last season. For a black woman to have a leadership role on a show and intentionally have no solid black men is completely unacceptable. This show can go right now. Not worth the time anymore.
