I like this show, and religion and faith, struggles of belief in a chaotic and cruel world are topics that interest me. The downside is the really cheesy effects at times. And it undermines the series title of “Evil” to show us some cloven-hoofed horned creature. That makes it silly, not scary...or even frighteningly real. Evil that is disembodied and yet present is a much creepier and disturbing reality to grapple with as a viewer. And whatever happened to the various symbols that the main characters were following? I guess we’ll see at some point.
