I truly don’t understand the low scores. I watch horror movies all day everyday (For work) I’m nearly desensitized, and I felt this movie was exciting! It might be a ‘slow start’ but what movie isn’t with our ever shortening attention spans. (It’s you with the problem not the movie) your jaw will drop numerous times and you WILL shout ‘oh my god!’ At your tv. Ignore the biased critics and the sad people with no idea what they’re talking about. This film is a triumph.

This film was all over the place and whatever direction it went it was dreadfully boring. Lily James’ character is painfully pathetic. When she finds out her husbands secret she suddenly becomes strong. Ridiculous. I assume there’s supposed to be a message or a lesson in this film but it is incoherent. Don’t waste the two hours.

Go watch paranormal activity: next of kin. You’ll have more fun for sure. This movie is just a lifetime movie with a better director.
