If ever you can be certain the impossible is possible it is when watching Bond. This movie included although not in a good way. As I never thought a Bond film would disappoint but this one greatly did. Our 007, who we know fights until the end and never gives up. As Phoenix rises up from the ashes time and time again to dazzle us. This time he does not. All when we are to believe the one and only Bond would give up on living because he can not touch his loved ones. Give Bond a family to call his own and he gives up on living faster then he ever did for the retrieval of the Queen’s jewels. Our James Bond is known to have heartache as no other and when facing the gift of love returned and a child he walks away from it leaving them behind and choosing death because of the inconvenience of not being able to touch them. How is this credible, and in character of the Bond we know and love?
Especially keeping in mind that the writers pretty much solved the whole 007 sequel problem of next agent in the first part only to ruin the entire legacy of 007 at the end.
Daniel Craig was not to blame it was not his acting but the movie writers are. With this plot 007 lost all it’s appeal. How I wish I could unsee this disappointing but mostly utterly illogical movie.
