I know they did modify the entire plot and added characters that weren’t there before and removed some, but at the end is like how all this connects with the original story in the 80s. I was expecting to see the Maitland couple which was a very important characters and they weren’t mentioned but only once and briefly when they were looking at the town model table and honestly I hardly saw the fun of it. I suggest watch the original movie and then compare to what they were trying to portray. Even if they add another characters will make sense but the problem was they try to deviate the attention into the shrinkheads and try to portray the minions theme , which honestly is not what Beetlejuice story was about . This movie will make sense if it was the 3rd sequel but they decide to put 2 sequels in one and is very poor job and I’m pretty certain that wasn’t Tim Burton job, since I am a fan of his work, that movie plot was heavily modified to save money on production. This is a real representation of a bad launching on bad economy times, don’t take me wrong the graphics were amazing but the story didn’t make good connection with the first one. I love you Tim but this is not what Beetlejuice story is about and you know it very well.
