Too many things in this movie that didn't make sense. But the scene that confused me the most is where dad followed the line of stolen trees to come to a spot where the daughter was waiting for him. They hug, she recites a bunch of nonsensical stuff, the crazy abductor guy shows up and shoots dad, daughter and the abductor run leaving dad on the ground. Shot. But no mention was ever made again to him being shot, to him seeing her, nothing. Very confusing. What was the point of that? Sorry, I love ya Ryan but you're better than this movie.
