I like the show. Not sure what people were expecting, the lack of support I see, has nothing to do with Disney ownership of the brand. This era of Star Wars (100 years before the empire's rise) is interesting to see. But hey, personal preference.
People don't want to see the LGBTQ+ and minority inclusion, that takes away from the traditional Harrison Ford/Mark Hamill heroism of the trilogy. All the "alt-right" fans who complained about it, can't do any better in writing a storyline.
Star Wars was not built on politics, racism, or being non-inclusive.
