I loved this book it segways in strange ways granted into what happens in every day life. Maybe not in such shocking ways but dirty undercurrents are hidden by reputations, money and power. The few one star ratings are dwarfed by the 5 star ones. Seems there’s no in-between with this book you either love it or hate it. I love it. Even if you hate it please read to the end. Maybe it’s a sort of fairy tale or fable as if not written as such would just be sad and nobody likes a fully sad story even if it’s true.
