The main character is a bad musician who finds a way to perform Beatle hits and people attribute the songs to him. While his career takes off like a rocket his personal life falls apart and he is racked with guilt. Most of the way through, he finds solace when he meets a wise old man who lives by the sea. The movies' musical score is a tribute to the Fab 4 not a rip-off.

Great movie. funny and touching. On the surface about two former boxers who really dont like each other. One of the rare movies where the characters portray real thoughts and feelings about aging people. "Where I come from we have words about people who kick when they fight, we call them girls."

Great story. Each character has their own angle on life but are forced into bad situations due to war in Europe. Everyone is forced to cope and compromise. No one is the same person they were even a few months into the war. The audience will certainly feel the loss if a main character is tragically lost. There is hope but no real happiness. The world is on fire.
