Sexist, transphobic, and boring. Heavy handed, unbelievable dialogue and zero character development. A small amount of interesting world building and one or two moments of moderately effective tension. This book made me respect Asimov a lot less, especially after discovering that his characters' misogyny is representative of his own history of harassment towards female colleagues.
