This is not a good movie. For a good hour not much happens. There is signs of potentially decent ideas that just never really pay off. Empty theatre when I went and I can see why. Skip this one

I went into this with high expectations because it was constantly advertised as word of mouth said it was great The movie is definitely decent, the characters are interesting and fairly well acted, the story is fairly simple and it works. The downside Is the movie is bogged down with poor special effects that are cheesy, very very cheesy. Plot points that seem to go nowhere. Its better than a lot of horrors as of late, but doesn't come close to some of a24s masterpieces over the years so If your expecting a "hereditary" or "talk to me" you will be very disappointed. 3/5

This movie is horrible. A franchise killer. I'm all for campy horror but this is a disgrace to Halloween. RIP Michael
